In 1975, Autodelta, Alfa Romeo's former racing team, rallied an Alfetta GTV with a 3.0-litre V8 engine--a bored out version of the Montreal's 2.6 with mechanical fuel injection. In 1977 Autodelta built a few special GTVs at the request of the German Alfa Romeo importer with the Montreal's 2.6 V8 producing 200 horsepower.
