Top 30 Best-Selling Vehicles In Canada - July 2013

Compared with June 2013, the Chrysler 200 is the only car missing on July 2013's list of the 30 best-selling vehicles in Canada. It was replaced by the Kia Rio, a car which shot up to 21st spot as the country's best-selling subcompact car. The Rio was one of six Korean-badged cars to crack the top 30.

Twelve of Canada's 30 best-selling vehicles wear Detroit badges, including five Fords. Canada's most popular vehicle line, the Ford F-Series, recorded its first year-over-year decline of 2013.

The F-Series still managed to outsell the Ram P/U (up 21%) by 2147 units. When Ford sold five F-Series pickups in July, Chrysler Canada sold four Rams.

Canada's 20 most popular nameplates generated half the auto industry's volume in July 2013. More than one in ten sales occur because of the F-Series and Ram. Another 7% of buyers opted for a Honda Civic, now Canada's best-selling car, or the Hyundai Elantra.
