has become a routine, Canada's pickup truck market grew at a pace that
far exceeded the overall automobile industry's rate of growth in June
2013. Dozens of brands combined to sell 1.3% more vehicles altogether.
Pickup truck sales jumped 9.5% year-over-year, and so far this year are
up 9.3%.
Of the 30,000 trucks sold in June, 36.7% were Ford F-Series pickups. 91.8% were sold by Detroit brands. 95.1% were full-size pickup trucks. Of the 1463 truck buyers who didn't opt for a full-size pickup, 68.6% chose a Toyota Tacoma. 95.2% of those Tacoma buyers chose four-wheel-drive.
