After a one-month hiatus, the Ford Fusion was once again Canada's best-selling midsize car in June 2013. Fusion volume is up 27% this year. it's Canada's eighth-best-selling car, and it accounts for slightly more than three out of every ten Ford brand car sales.

Together with the Chrysler 200 (up 22% in June), the Dodge Avenger (which more than tripled in June), the Buick Regal, and the Chevrolet Malibu, the Fusion and its Detroit siblings were responsible for 39% of the conventional midsize market's Canadian sales last month.

37% of the segment's June volume stemmed from the Honda Accord, Mazda 6, Nissan Altima, Subaru Legacy, Suzuki Kizashi, and Toyota Camry. With these figures, we're not taking into account cars like the Toyota Prius or Subaru Outback, midsize outliers.

Hyundai and Kia have sold 13,407 Sonatas and Optimas so far this year. Chrysler and Dodge have sold 12,109 200s and Avengers in the first six months of 2013.
