GM, CAW reach tentative agreement on contract
The Canadian Auto Workers union says it reached a tentative labor agreement with GM, three days after a strike deadline was extended. The settlement covering wages and benefits for about 8,200 workers follows a day of back-and-forth negotiations between the union and the U.S. automaker.
