Import surge drives AutoNation's May sales up 45%
 A surge in sales of import-brand vehicles drove AutoNation Inc.'s May volume up by 45 percent. AutoNation, the largest U.S. dealership group, sold 23,763 new vehicles in May, up from 16,347 in May 2011. Competition is heating up to win a contract for a vehicle that will replace nearly 18,500 aging military Humvees for the U.S. Army and Marine Corps starting in 2015.
