Another Denso exec will plead guilty to conspiracy in price-fixing probe

A second executive at Japanese automotive supplier Denso will plead guilty to a conspiracy charge in the ever-widening crackdown on price-fixing in several segments of the auto supply chain. Makoto Hattori, assistant manager and later manager of the Toyota sales division at Denso from 2005 to 2008, will serve 14 months and pay a $20,000 fine on a charge of conspiracy to restrain trade involving automotive heater control panels, the U.S.
