Nissan sales rise 8%; VW brand surges 36%

Chrysler posted a 37 percent increase in December U.S. sales today and joined GM in predicting that the industry will finish the year stronger than analysts had predicted. Chrysler's December jump capped a year that saw the automaker's U.S.
 story
