New-car sales pace to top 13 million, J.D. Power says
image DETROIT (Reuters) -- The U.S. auto sales rate in December is expected to top 13 million on an annual basis for the fourth consecutive month, indicating uncertainty about the economy has not slowed the industry down, J.D. Power and Associates and LMC Automotive said today.

Fisker seeks to lift Karma sales to move on from loan scrutiny
imageLOS ANGELES (Bloomberg) -- Fisker Automotive Inc., a California maker of plug-in hybrid sports cars, wants to put scrutiny of a federal loan to build rechargeable vehicles behind it as the company ramps up U.S. deliveries of $102,000 Karma sedans.
